Curriculum

The Robin Hood PTO is proud and excited to support the curriculum of the Robin Hood School system.

Below you’ll find updates and details from Jordan Weymer, Principal of Robin Hood Elementary School.

Literacy

Our new literacy curriculum is Fishtank Learning. It is a comprehensive, cohesive, knowledge-based literacy program for students in grades K-4. The curriculum focuses on the three T’s of literacy instruction: Text, Task, and Talk.

We use the Fundations phonics curriculum in grades K-2 to teach our students early literacy skills.

We use DIBELS and STAR for our literacy assessments and screeners.

Math

We use the EnVisions Math curriculum for all students in grades K-4

Student Support Team (SST)

Families and caregivers should familiarize themselves with the Robin Hood Student Support Team (SST) information by reading the SST Information Handout. Families and caregivers should contact their student/s classroom teacher with any academic concerns.

Additional Resources

An education glossary was created by the Robin Hood School Council to provide families and caregivers with information on regularly used educational terms.
