We have had an amazing Fall for fundraising and really appreciate everyone’s generosity! Your donations go directly to supporting the students in the classroom through enrichments, and initiatives like the Teacher Fund and Teacher Closet.
Fundraising Opportunities
Our next fundraising opportunity is Dave and Busters “Power Cards”. A flyer and details will be coming out soon!
Holiday gift giving for teachers and staff will be changing this year based on feedback and suggestions from our staff. Changes will be posted here, emailed, a flyer will be shared, and this will be posted on Facebook.
Community Awareness
There have been 50 coats donated to the RH Coat Drive. There is still plenty of time to donate coats and support local families in need! The drive runs through Jan 5th! Giving Tree will be coming out soon to help RH/local families with the holidays this year
Enrichments
Keep an eye out on facebook for pictures from in school enrichments! Check the meeting minutes as all field trips/enrichments that are booked are listed.
Principal’s Report
The Lost and Found is getting too full! Pictures will be posted to Facebook and all items need to be picked up by the end of conferences on December 4th and 5th or they will be donated!
The new Fishtank curriculum has begun, see the curriculum page for further details!
Please call the non emergency police line, 781-438-1215, if there is poor behavior at RH by older children outside of school hours.
Volunteers Needed
Our annual Bingo Night is coming up in January! We will need volunteers to help with setup and clean-up, check winners, hand out prizes, and staff the snack and drink table
The Art Show will need volunteers to help tape the art to the wall the afternoon of the event.
4th Grade Moving On committee is forming and we need volunteers to help plan the party! The first meeting will be Tuesday, January 14th at 6pm via Zoom.
Important Upcoming Dates
- Principal’s Coffee Hour is back Tuesday, November 19th at 9am in RH library!
- Parent Teacher Conferences are on December 4th & 5th. Will have raffles for 50/50 and Vigoritto Tile has donated a scratch ticket tree again.
- Stoneham Holiday Parade is Saturday, December 7th from 11-12:30, come see Scratch on the PTO float!
- Bingo Night Friday January, 24th from 6:30-8pm
- Art Show is Wednesday, Feb 12th 6-8pm
